About Kaitlyn
I realized when I started to write this that I am not sure what to call myself. I guess my title consists of multiple skills I have acquired mostly through my curiosity, books, and the internet. My journey really began when I found the simple build your own home pages offered by AOL when I was about 11 years old. I would spend quite a bit of time visiting other’s websites and creating my own. I would graduate from simple webpage builders to more advanced ones until I finally ran my own domain at the age of 13. After a long time of being an on and off web & graphic designer I decided that I would have much more success with my graphics if I could just take my own photos.
When I was 17 I got my first digital camera. I had a lot of fun walking around and capturing things in a different perspective. It was just a simple 2mp kodak easyshare camera that i actually still have. I spent a couple of years learning more and more about photography just by doing it. Before I knew it I was so in love with photography that I bought my first digital SLR when I was 20. I have spent the last couple of years learning more and taking as many photos as I was able to. I feel so lucky to be able to do what I love every day and to share emotions and memories with people all around the world.
